Park Watch: What’s Happening This Month

MARCH 2023

It’s a short list this month but it’s still going to be busy in Disney Parks.

As we roll into March 2023 you can expect parks to be packed. This is the final month of the 50th Anniversary Celebration in Disney World, fan favorite festivals kick off on both coasts, and schools start going on spring break so crowd levels are going to be high.

Disney World

50th Anniversary Celebration Ending

March 31 marks the official end of the 50th Anniversary Celebration in Disney World. There hasn’t been an official list released of when all of the special offerings and entertainment will come to a close, it’s safe to assume that it will all be phased out pretty quickly. We do know that both night time shows Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom and Harmonious at EPCOT will end their run on April 2 and starting April 3, guest favorite “Happily Ever After” returns, as well as a limited run of “EPCOT Forever”.

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Show

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Show kicks off March 1 and runs through July 5, 2023. This festival features gorgeous floral and topiary displays but don’t worry fellow foodies, Disney has not let us down. This year’s festival offers 50 new festival-inspired sips and bites! So there’s not going to be any shortage of tasty noms to nosh on while you wander through the incredible Disney character topiaries and educational global gardens.

There’s also the Garden Rocks Concert Series which is accompanied by the Garden Rocks Dining Packages. When you book a Garden Rocks Dining Package, you can choose from eight different restaurants offering a pre-paid dining experience and a guaranteed seat at one of the Garden Rocks performances that day.

These are probably not all going to sell out but performances by more popular performers may book up fast. MouseWatcher is here to help find a seat if you need us.

Disneyland

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival starts March 3 and runs to April 25, 2023. Much like the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival in Florida, this event features special festival food booths, cooking demonstrations, celebrity chefs, live music and the return of Soarin’ Over California.

Mickey’s Toontown Re-Opening

After being closed for an extended renovation, Mickey and the gang are once again opening their homes to visitors on March 19, 2023. The new and improved Toontown will feature new eateries and park-like spaces.

Disneyland After Dark Princess Nite

This princess themed Disneyland After Dark event is happening March 7 and 9, 2023. Princess Minnie and Princess Daisy will greet you with royal fanfare and welcome you to a night of special performances, royal meet and greets, and more. This extra ticket event is already sold out.
