Park Watch: What’s Happening This Month
MARCH 2024
It’s a short list this month but it packs a punch.
As we roll into March 2024 you can expect park crowds to increase as the month goes on. Two popular festivals – EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival kick off and schools start going on spring break so crowd levels are going to be high.
Disney World
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Show
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Show kicked off early this year on February 28 and runs through May 27, 2024. This festival features gorgeous floral and topiary displays, new garden inspired dishes from outdoor kitchens and brand new festival merch.
There’s also the Garden Rocks Concert Series which is accompanied by the Garden Rocks Dining Packages. When you book a Garden Rocks Dining Package, you can choose from eight different restaurants offering a pre-paid dining experience and a guaranteed seat at one of the Garden Rocks performances that day.
These are probably not all going to sell out but performances by more popular performers may book up fast. MouseWatcher is here to help find a seat if you need us.
Disneyland
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival starts March 3 and runs to April 22, 2024. Much like the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival in Florida, this event features special festival food booths, cooking demonstrations, celebrity chefs, live music and the return of Soarin’ Over California.
Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite
Disney is launching a brand new extra ticket event – Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite – celebrating iconic Disney Channel TV shows and characters at Disneyland Park—on March 5 and 7, 2024.
This limited ticket event will celebrate Disney Channel favorites – both old and new – like High School Musical and Camp Rock, Zombies and Descendants. The nostalgia factor will be cranked up to 11 with special character experiences including Kim Possible, Darkwing Duck and Launchpad McQuack, Lilo and Stitch, the Rescue Rangers and more!
There’s also going to be event exclusive photo opportunities of some of your favorite Disney Channel Original Movies and TV shows. Now, I don’t usually get excited about the photo ops but… one of them is going to be the ICONIC Disney Channel Wand ID! So yeah I’m jealous of anyone who’s going to be there for that one.
Tickets are on sale now and start at $139 per Guest (Ages 3+).
