NEW Disney Dining Discounts Announced
Disney has just dropped a new dining promo for the fall and winter travel season! You can get up to $200 per night when you book a minimum 4-night stay during select dates through March 5, 2024.

The Details:
- Everyone in the same room must be on the same package.
- Advance reservations are required.
- Minimum 4-day theme park ticket required.
- Minimum 4-night length of stay required.
- Tickets are valid beginning on date of check-in and must be used within a limited number of days, depending on length of ticket.
- $1,000 Disney Dining Promo Card for stays at select Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. The value of the Disney Dining Promo Card is determined by Disney Resort hotel and length of stay.
- One Disney Dining Promo Card per room—valid for room-and-ticket packages that include up to $1,000 on a Disney Dining Promo Card. If a package includes more than $1,000 on a Disney Dining Promo Card, the value will be distributed across more than one Disney Dining Promo Card.
- Cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.
- Offer excludes the following room types: campsites, 3-bedroom villas, and Club Level Rooms & Suites at Disney Deluxe Resort hotels.
- Gratuities are not included.
- Theme park reservations are required. Through January 8, 2024, to enter a theme park, both a theme park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date are required for Guests ages 3 and up.
How Does the Dining Promo Card Work?
The Dining Promo Card is a digital-only format. After you check in for your resort stay, the digital Disney Dining Promo Card will be sent to you via email.
While the promo card is digital, it can’t be added to your My Disney Experience account, which means you can’t use it when paying with MagicBands or MagicMobile.
Here’s how you can use your digital dining promo card to pay:
- Pay by allowing the vendor to scan the barcode.
- Pay by adding it to your Apple or Samsung Wallet and using it at touch-to-pay locations.
- Pay by entering the number when appropriate, such as when using the card with Mobile Order.
The digital Disney Dining Promo Card is redeemable at select participating food and beverage locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. Locations that are unable to accept the Disney Dining Promo Card include, but are not limited to:
- Merchandise locations and candy kitchens
- Dining locations at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and Walt Disney World Swan Reserve Hotel
- Dining locations at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort
- Dining locations at Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels
- Dining locations at Walt Disney World Official Hotels at Bonnet Creek
- Dining locations at Walt Disney World Gateway Hotels
How Does it Compare to the Disney Dining Plan?
In some ways the Dining Promo Card is more limited but in other ways it’s more flexible than the Dining Plan options. Instead of having a meal credit per person situation, the promo card is more of a flat rate situation. You can also use the promo card to pay for alcohol and the dining plan doesn’t cover alcoholic drinks in most cases.
Strictly looking at the numbers, the maximum per night value of $200 at a Deluxe resort would cover the average family of 2 adults and 2 children on the Quick Service Plan, or 2 adults on the Standard Disney Dining Plan that includes Table Service credits. The $120 per night benefit will be similar to 2 adults on the Quick Service Plan, or 1 adult and a child on the Standard Disney Dining Plan. At $60 you’ll need to be a solo traveler and using the Quick Service Plan to get a similar value.
Which One Is Right For Me: Dining Plan or Promo Card?
This is one of those “you’ll have to do your own math” situations. If you’re traveling after January 9, 2024, you’ll be able to get the Disney Dining Plan, and good news, you can add the Dining Plan to a package that’s booked with this promo. So, you can compare all of these numbers with meal costs you’re expecting for your family’s and decide which one works best for you.
